I know you’re supposed to write something clever here, or witty, or even inspiring, but I just don’t ever know what to write when describing my designs so that it doesn’t sound like a food blogger trying to use every SEO/Keyword possible, so here is the Moonstone Cowl. This is another design I got done in 2020/2021 ish and then Lion Brand discontinued their Wool Ease Roving line about a week after they sent it to me it seemed like, so this pattern didn’t really get its time in to shine and that made me sad, so here is it! (Realistically, it was probably a few weeks, but it seemed wicked fast for a designer call and then it being discontinued.)

Pattern Notes
- Please read all notes and directions before starting the pattern.
- Cowl is worked in joined and turned rnds.
- Rnds of single crochet (sc) are alternated with rnds of single crochet worked into the spaces between sts (instead of in the top of sts, as usual).
- If you find it difficult to join the beg ch into a ring without twisting the ch, Rnd 1 can be worked as a row, then joined into a rnd, as follows: Leaving a long beg tail, ch 71, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; join with sl st in first sc – you will have 70 sc in this row/rnd. Use beg tail to sew gap at base of first row closed. Proceed to Rnd 2.
