Pattern Notes
- Please read all notes and directions before starting the pattern.
- Chain stitches at the beginning of each round do not count as a stitch.
- This blanket is made up of multiple pieces seamed together.
Abbreviations

Pattern Directions
- Color 1 – Purple
- Color 2 – Orange
- Color 3 – Blue
- Color 4 – Green
Gauge
14 st x 8 Rows = 4×4
Blanket
Referencing the chart above:
Rectangles 1-4 (Make 2 in Purple and 2 in Orange)
- Row 1 – Chain 26 (or fdc 24). Dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in each stitch across. Ch 2 and turn. (24)
- Row 2 – 47 – Dc in each stitch across, ch 2 and turn. (24)
- Row 48 – Dc in each stitch across, finish off and weave in ends.
Rectangles 5 & 6 ( Make 1 in Purple and 1 in Orange)
- Row 1 – Chain 14 (or fdc 12). Dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in each stitch across. Ch 2 and turn. (12)
- Row 2 – 47 – Dc in each stitch across, ch 2 and turn. (24)
- Row 48 – Dc in each stitch across, finish off and weave in ends.

Rectangles G & B (Make 3 in Blue and 3 in Green)
- Row 1 – Chain 62 (or fdc 60) Dc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in each stitch across. Ch 2 and turn. (60)
- Row 2 – 15 – Dc in each stitch across, ch 2 and turn. (60)
- Row 16 – Dc in each stitch across, finish off and weave in ends.
Seaming together

There is no right or wrong way to seam this together. Just lay your pieces out the way the chart shows (or the photo above) and sew them together. I used a zig sag slip stitch joining method, but truly, use what you are comfortable with.
I used Orange to seam the Blue/Green/Blue together, I used Blue to seam the Purple/Orange/Purple together. Green to seam the Orange/Purple/Orange together. And Purple to seam the Green/Blue/Green together. The photo below shows how that looks. You can do one single color, grab a 5th color, or just use the leftover yarn as you want.
To finish it up I used the same colors I seamed the sections together with to put a single crochet border all the way around the outside.
