Pattern Notes
- Please read all notes and directions before starting the pattern.
- Chain stitches at the beginning of each round do not count as a stitch.
- I do a ch 2 instead of a ch 3 at the beginning of each row/round. You can do a ch 3 if that works better for you, but still do not count it.
- Stitch count for each round will be at the end in ()
- I do not have perfect stitch counts for sleeves. It depends on how much room you leave yourself, but I do have my notes listed for reference.
- If you are interested in testing sizes not listed (2xl-5xl) for me, please send an email to sam@sambartley.com and I can work on the larger sizing ASAP.

Sleeves
- Attach the yarn at the armpit and dc around evenly. Dc around until the sleeve is desired length. Depending on how much arm space you leave when seaming will depend on this number. I had 56 double crochets and my sleeves were 29 inches long. For reference my arms are 13 inches around, and 17 inches long.
- Drop to a 4mm hook and crab stitch around. Finish off, weave in the end.
Front Trim
- Starting on the front corner of the cardigan, attach yarn and single crochet evenly from the corner, up one side, and down to the other corner. Ch 1 and turn. (I put 1 sc in each row, if your stitches are bunching up a bit, jump up to a 6mm hook and that should help.)
- Hdc in each stitch across, ch 2 and turn.
- Dc in each stitch across, finish off, weave in ends.
Bottom Hem
- Starting on the bottom of the front corner, dc in each stitch across the front panel, back panel, and second front panel. Finish off and weave in ends.
