Hi Pals! Today we are doing a video and review I have been planning for about a year now. Check out the video first to get the unboxing (the first 12 minutes), or stick around and watch how the yarns work up and frog (the rest of the video), and then come back for all the details and my reviews.

Teddy Bear Yarn

- $1.54
- Colors 44 & 23
- Bulky Weight
- Approx. 54 yards per skein
- 45 & 48 g
What did I think about this yarn? This is a SUPER soft teddy bear/Sherpa style yarn. I think this yarn is incredibly soft, doesn’t fray a lot when cut, and would be great for amigurumi or cardigans. I also think this is a good price. Amazon has similar “teddy bear yarn” for sale around $30/4pack, or $7.50/skein.
Rope Yarn –

- $14.00
- 3mm rope – Worsted/Aran Weight
- Approx. 441 yards
- Colors: 02, 06, 21
What did I think about this yarn? I am obsessed. I was looking for a really nice rope yarn to design a bag with and this is exactly what I was looking for. I DO think that $14 is a good price for this, when I see similar ones on Amazon for $16.99+ $5.99 shipping.
Purple and Blue Yarn –

- $2.25/hank
- 50 Grams
- 132 yards
- Sport weight
- Color: 1
What did I think about this yarn? It is quite similar to Red Heart Super Saver yarn, but not quite as many yards as Red Heart. The colors are pretty, but I would stick to Red Heart if you’re looking for a budget friendly sport/worsted weight yarn.
Cashmere –

- $7.07
- Lace weight
- 52g
- Approx. 286 yards
- Colors: White & Dark Grey
What did I think about this yarn? It’s really soft, super thin, cashmere yarn. I am 100% holding these double with the mohair if I remember correctly, but I think this will make a really cute beanie. Do I think it’s worth the price? I would recommend the Mink Cashmere below, it is a little cheaper and the same weight/yardage. (This does come with a bobbin of thread, but I am not sure about anything else on it.)
Mink Cashmere –

- $5.47
- Lace weight yarn
- Approx. 286 yards
- Color: Grey
What did I think about this yarn? This would be the one I preferred if I was looking for a cashmere yarn to work with. It comes in a variety of colors and the grey I purchased has a great heathered look.
Mohair –

- $1.86 / ball
- 53g
- Lace weight yarn
- Approx.. 286 yards
- Color: 23
What did I think about this yarn? It is not the softest mohair I have ever worked with, so I look forward to seeing how it feels held with the cashmere above, but it also feels felted in spots so I am crossing my fingers it isn’t and its just a little inconsistency with the thickness. Do I recommend this yarn? If the project is for someone you don’t like all that much, this is totally fine. If you truly love the person or this is for you, I would splurge on an indie dyer for sure. (you’ll get more yardage that way, their skeins tend to run around 400 yards but they do cost about $28-$34. I would give you an amazon link, but I haven’t tested any of the mohair’s on there yet so I don’t want to send you to something equally as itchy.
T-Shirt Yarn –

- $3.98/roll
- Super Bulky
- 105g
- Approx. 92 yards
- Color: Fluorescent green
What did I think about this yarn? I loved it. It’s incredibly soft, is rolled perfect on itself, and is going to make some really pretty coasters I think. I highly recommend this yarn.
Faux Fur Yarn –

- $3.22/roll
- Super Bulky weight
- 52 grams
- Approx. 44 yards
- Color: White
What did I think about this yarn? It is SO SO SO SOFT. It feels like I am petting a freshly washed Golden Retriever or chinchilla or a cloud. Lion Brand and Amazon have faux fur yarn for about $6.99-$10 for 65 yards, so I would choose this one over that. It doesn’t fray a lot either, thankfully.
Rainbow Cake –

- $5.57/cake
- Fingering Weight
- 101g
- Approx. 418 yards
- Color: 53
What did I think about this yarn? This yarn is super pretty but omg is it splitty. This did measure out as a fingering weight, but maybe a teeny tiny bit thicker than that. I really liked the feeling and color of this yarn, but I think if I am looking for a cake I will stick with Lion Brand or Caron.
Baby Tweed –

- $2.78/ball
- Weight: Sport
- Amount of yarn: 50g
- Yardage: Approx. 132y
- Color: 16 & 04
What did I think about this yarn? This is a SUPER soft baby yarn, with the perfect amount of tweed mixed in. It is a bit splitty, and it had a knot in it pretty early, so hopefully that was the only one, but with it only being 132 yards it feels weird there was even a need to have it not be a single strand of yarn. Anyway, I like this one, but if you already have a baby yarn you love, I would probably just stick with that one.
