Hi pals! Welcome to “Is this is last round-up ever?!” and the short answer is “NO!” and the long answer is… well, keep reading.
It’s been a bit since I had time to write or release any content, so I really wanted to give you a peek into the chaos that has been my WIP pile over the past few months. I have frogged a few, added more than I removed, and stashed two away for later. I decided to wrap one up early, and one is so behind that it’s going to take a miracle and a weekend binge of Lord of the Rings to get it caught up before the deadline.
Some of these I plan to finish before the New Year, but the rest will be tagging along into 2026 with me, happy to be a part of the group that is my brain in fiber form.
Here’s the Vlog if you’re interested in seeing more and also seeing the few I forgot to add to the list below lol
So, let’s get into them!
Sam’s Final 2025 WIPS
2025 Temperature Blanket
I am like 6 weeks behind on this blanket and I am not proud of it. I was doing so well at keeping up, and then the goblins attacked (aka I got busy at work) and here we are. I have the hexagons (mostly) made, I just need to seam them together and get the separation added in before the next set of hexagons is finished. I think I can get that caught up before the end of the month, but I am also trying to get about 40 other things done so we will see.
My goal is to have this ready to see all wrapped up and done the first full week of January, so wish me luck!

Granny Square Blanket
This blanket. This blanket started out as a streaming challenge, and then I quit streaming, and now it just sits in a drawer. SO, I decided to just seam it all together and add a border and call it good. Hoping to finish this before the end of the month too.

Baby Blanket Design
So this blanket is a little different. One of my sweet friends just had a baby and they came a little early so I am a little behind on getting it finished for them, but I wanted to design something classic and vintage with a hint of whimsy and I created this. Well, obviously it’s not done yet, but this is the vibe and I think it’s going to be magical when it’s finished. I am also making them a matching smaller blanket for their favorite stuffed animal or lovie to have one too.

Dinosaur Crochet Kit
I got this dinosaur crochet kit with my Amazon Vine account and as far as I can tell it includes everything I need to make this dino, it’s egg, and its nest. And this worked out great because my son requested a dinosaur with rainbows, and the egg and nest are rainbows, so I think this counts! It was just silly that I had this kit sitting in my drawer and he just so happened to request something I knew I had! That never happens! 🤣

Knit Beanie
I truly have no idea what beanie pattern I am using for this one, or what the yarn is called, but it was a gift from a sweet friend at the shelter and I once I remember what the pattern is I will finish it! I just can’t figure out what one it is…

Rom-Com Cardi
This Rom-Com Cardigan from Barley & Flax is back on the list and I am working through the front panels right now. I have about 3 inches on the right side, and then ill finish the left, take a break, and the make the arms. I am really really obsessed with the design, I am just really really slow with cables. 😂

Fingerless Gloves
I had just enough yarn left over to knit up a pair of these fingerless gloves with my Orbweaver yarn from Apple Blossom Yarns. I cannot WAIT to finish these.

Socks
Another project in the Apple Blossom Yarn – socks. I snagged this pattern from a book I bought at the local used book store, and it has an after thought heel, so I am learning something new and also going to pee a little when I have to cut my yarn. I am so nervous lol.

Cross Stitch Project
I am still slowly working on my friend Liz (aka Sleeping Luna Designs) cross stitch pattern, and I am 99% sure I have counted everything correctly. And if I didn’t, too bad.

Elephant Diamond Painting
This is just a little kit I got off Amazon earlier this year (for free) and I am just now getting around to it. I love elephants so freaking much.

Granny Square Bag
This bag is going to be my demise I swear to god. Nothing about it is necessarily hard, I just learned I really don’t like doing the herringbone stitch in crochet and will do anything to avoid it, including but not limited to ignoring my project that is almost done.
I will finish it, I just don’t want to.

Knit Kindle Pouch
And this delight is ALMOST done. I have just a few inches left and then seaming the bottom and making the cord for the cinch top and I will have another super cute knit kindle pouch!

Knit Curtsey Collar
This little collar is a project for a sweet friend I have known for almost a decade at this point. She is a delightful streamer and kind person and I just can’t wait to see this on her!

My Pile to Frog
And my frog pile. I am ripping out the suri silk sweater (if it works with me), the Lakeside Dress, the green knit tank top, and the hobbii sweater. OH and the yellow project from the company that stole patterns that I refuse to work with now that I know that. Which sucks, because this bag is cute af, but this person refuses to work with a company that steals from other designers and lies to its creators. Anyway.

And that’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed this little breakdown of all of my WIPS and if you have any questions you know what to do!
