Book (ARC) REVIEW: Tourist Season by Brynne Weaver (out Sept 23, 2025)

No spoilers – because we’ve got a wait until this one drops – but I have to talk about it.

First off, massive thanks to Zando, Slowburn, and the dark queen Brynne Weaver herself for letting me devour this early. 🙏

Second… what in the actual f*ck did I just read?! The intensity. The feral tenderness. The razor-sharp humanity wrapped in blood-soaked banter. It’s giving Halloween Town meets horror movie murdery with mystery energy, with a full lineup of content/trigger warnings (and for good reason).

What’s inside?

🖤 Schmurder (you know the kind)

🔥 Enemies to lovers

⛓️ Kink & play

🫀 He falls first (and hard)

💀 More schmurder

🐦 A pretty bird & an unhinged bird feeder

🍪 Cookie Monster chaos

👅 Brat & Brat Tamer dynamics

If you know, you know. If you don’t… just you wait.
