Okay Kandi Steiner, I don’t know WHAT you’ve put in these books, but I swear to god its stronger than the strongest drug because I CAN’T STOP.

Book Review
Alright, let’s get into it ya? Save Your Breath was just, damn, like it was perfect. I am a hockey fanatic, I love the Blues, Kraken, and Red Wings more than the air I breathe during hockey season, but if you could STOP MAKING TEAMS I LOVE MORE THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
I love the team, I love Aleks, I love their banter and how they take care of each other. And Mia, oh sweet pop star princess Mia. She is probably one of my favorite Kandi MC’s so far. She is dedicated and hard working and true to herself and goodness gracious when those two finally get their shit together – *chefs kiss*.
The way Kandi takes you through their childhood, their miscommunications and wrong place/wrong time moments. The way you feel Aleks words come to life and their love behind them. You know they end up together in the end, but goodness the journey to get there is just so damn good.
Anyway, go grab the first 3 in the series, devour them, and then come back on 3/20 and grab Save Your Breath.
Oh, and of course, a major thank you to Kandi and her team for letting me read this one early.
When I read “A love letter to Whiskey” (also by Kandi) and I thought that was it, that was my perfect romance. And it still is. But this, this is my perfect hockey romance. No tricks, no lies, just pure perfect fake dating, slow burn, and “it’s always been you”.
