This was SUCH a fun read. It is a swoon worthy cozy romance with spice and tension and, yes, a 3rd act incident, and it was just what I needed to end my week with. I adored Ellie, disliked a few of the other characters, hated two of them, and felt the remaining ones were real friends. I really didn’t connect with Ethan until, well, the last few pages. He drove me bonkers, and the “I just don’t like her like that” he kept repeating, well, he said it a lot. I wish we could have seen him develop his feelings earlier on in the story so they weren’t so abrupt to the reader, while still surprising Ellie, but he got there eventually and that’s what matters.
