I can’t stop thinking about this book.
I’m not going to do a synopsis because you can read that for yourself, but this was something special.
The first half or so is world building, slow paced, and sets you up for the second half. Keep going.
But the second half, oh buddy. The darkness, the love and empathy, the compassion. There is a lot of heavy themes in the second half, and it gets a little spicy and there is a hint of “well, this isn’t gonna be good.” but it’s is so so good.
I really enjoyed reading this one and look forward to reading more by Kara.
