Hi pals! We are back with another simple crochet stitch, the Moss Stitch Crochet Tutorial! This is SUCH a fun stitch, made up of single crochets and chain spaces, it creates a really structured texture with just a little bit of drape. You can use any size hook and yarn you want for it, so get your tools together and lets get to crocheting!
what can you use this stitch for?
This stitch is great for a variety of uses. I use it for dishcloths, washcloths, beanies, fingerless gloves, scarves, blankets, cardigans, really there is no limit.

Stitches used:
- Sc = Single Crochet
- Ch = Chain
- Sp = Space
- St = Stitches

Chain an even number of stitches. I did 16.

Row 1 – Sc in the first stitch, *chain 1 and skip the next stitch, sc in the next*. Repeat * to * to the end, ending on a single crochet. Ch 1 and turn.

Row 2 – Sc in the first stitch, sc in the chain 1 space from the row below, *chain 1, skip the next stitch, sc in the next*. Repeat * to * across, ending with a single crochet. Ch 1 and turn

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until desired length. Finish off and weave in your ends. Happy crocheting!
