Hi pals! Here is my book review of How to Fake it with a Fae. I hope you like it!
How To Fake It With A Fae: An Enemies to Lovers Romantic Comedy by Amy BoylesMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the cutest romantic comedy with magic 🥰
Addison Thornrose is the best at picking out your next read and the worst at picking out men. She’s a witch with essentially zero magic and unless she marries quickly, her family will lose their magic forever.
Feylin, king of the fae, wants one thing and one thing only. To avenge his dead wife and get his revenge on the Thornrose family. And when he learns the Thornroses are holding a ball to marry off their daughters, he sees an opportunity and takes it.
This book is a delight! I read this in two nights and had such a blast. Tons of laughs, a few “hold my breath” moments. The Bridgerton vibes were *chefs kiss* and I enjoyed (thanked the universe) that it wasn’t a direct copy/paste in any way. (It’s always something I worry about when the synopsis mentions a show or something from pop culture and I am always pleasantly surprised when they work out this well.) The banter is 10/10, the romance is 11/10, and the story is something I cannot wait to read more of. I loved the sisters, I adored their nicknames, and Blairs story is going to be wonderful, I can just feel it.
