Fourth Wing by Rebecca YarrosMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
“Fascinating. You look all frail and breakable, but you’re really a violent little thing, aren’t you.” The sentence that made me understand exactly why this book was going to be wonderful. To be honest I really didn’t “get” it until the end. It was a good book for sure, I flew through it in a day, but those last 50 ish pages, thats what sold me. I loved the world building, especially because the details really helped shape the vibe of the situations. Violet is probably the first character that has ever “uncovered” things similarly to myself, and I won’t spoil anything, but it was super frustrating at first until I realized I was frustrated because I was deceived in the best way possible.
This one has a little bit of spice, a little bit of enemies to lovers, a few of the best friends anyone could ask for, and a lot of magic. I am super excited for the next one to come out, I just neeeeeed to know what’s going to happen.
