It’s time for me to share with you my 2025 Temperature Blanket in alllll her glory!
Go watch this video for the full reveal and all of the final details, as well as a preview and the plans for my 2026 blanket (post coming soon!), and then come back over for the rest of the details and links!
I ADORE how this turned out. The colors are bright and lively, the way they change and flow throughout the blanket are just so fun, and I adore the border I did.
If you want to make your own, just like this one, you can check out post 1 and post 2, then come back here for the finishing details.
All in all this blanket took me 60+ hours to complete.
There’s also 4 pounds of yarn exactly in this blanket. Four. Pounds.

So how did I finish it?
I seamed all of the hexagons together for each quarter using the zig-zag slip stitch. I just laid them out in the order I made them until it was the width I wanted it and I just started seaming them together. I would attach them together with stitch markers in the layout I wanted and then I would seam that quarter.
Once I got the entire first quarter seamed I single crocheted a row of black across the top to mark the top of the blanket. I then took the average temperature for January, February, and March and crocheted a single crochet row of each color at the bottom of the quarter.
Then with quarter 2 I seamed those hexagons to the bottom of the 3 rows and just repeated each section the same way.
Once all 4 quarters were attached and the separation rows added, I started the boarder. I decided to do one row of double crochets of each color in the order of the temperature scale for the sides, and then I did one round of black to pull it all together all the way around the blanket.
What do you think? Pretty rad ya?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this adventure, and I can’t wait to share the 2026 blanket with you next January! I am so excited to see how this one turns out!
Love you pals.
