“What if I taste of heartache?” “What if I taste of healing?”
First up. THANK YOU Miranda Lyn & The Realm Studios for letting me read this book early for you. You trusted me with Till Death, and I was lucky enough to see you asking about Nevermore in time, and I dove in the moment it landed in my inbox. (Hence the review 2 days later). Anyway. I know a lot of authors don’t read GoodReads reviews, but if you happen to see this one, yes I am unhinged, no I won’t apologize. (Someone told me “The shock on peoples faces when you’re blunt is entertaining.” ;) )

Okay. Now, hang on. Gimme one second. *deep breaths*
ARE YOU F****** KIDDING ME?!
Is there a word stronger than feral? Because that’s me. I can’t even being to start with anything because I don’t want to spoil an ounce of this book.
I was captured within pages, and I devoured all 650 pages in essentially one sitting (I read a chapter, realized I was fu*ked – err- I mean hooked, and waited until tonight.)
I couldn’t help myself. I needed to know what was happening because honestly, it’s a start and doesn’t stop kind of book. You want adventure, well baby, we’ve got your adventure right here. *pats preorder link*
I grasped my kindle like my life depended on it while reading, my hands hurt as I type this review. I truly am not exaggerating when I say I devoured this book. Like I didn’t just read it, I felt it, underlined, added notes. I have SO. MANY. HIGHLIGHTS.
The found family. THE TWINS. The sword. The little book. The magic. The rearranging of the furniture. The clocks. The cliffhanger. THE BANTER. Like not once single part of the book could have been more clever or well thought out.
I truly cannot wait to get a physical copy just so I can go back through and transfer all of my notes into it and then start from the beginning and read again. I know I missed something, and I am aching for book 3.
And yes, I do HIGHLY recommend reading Till Death, then Nevermore, and then suffer graciously and patiently with me as we wait for Evermore. I also ARC read Till Death and lost my shit when I finished it. Similar to this book. I’m sensing a trend.
