Okay, if you’ve been here before you know I normally start my book reviews with the tropes all set up sparkly, how much I liked/loved it, and then a thank you or something sweet to the author if applicable.
Scythe and Sparrow is not *really* that review, *exactly*. Obviously no spoilers, & please read responsibly. This book has triggers and content that is not everyone’s… flavor of cotton candy.

So with that, my review ~~~
Butcher and Blackbird is and will forever be my favorite book. I won’t explain why, but it is. Leather and Lark was exactly what I was wanting it to be. BUT Scythe and Sparrow, oh this fucking book. I started reading with the playlist of course, and before I knew it I was cackling, crying, cackling, highlighting my little head off, SCREAMING, kicking my feet, and the cackling some more.
AND THEN, after everything was said and done, I sat there, staring at my lock screen of my kindle, in awe. Brynne did it, she wrote the perfect ending.
& with that I am going to go grab my physical copy and transfer notes. I wish I could read this again for the first time
Here’s my review of Butcher & Blackbird in case you were thinking about starting from the beginning!
