Hi friends! How in the world is it already April? Well, regardless of how, we are here so lets start of April with some cozy goodness, yeah?
Patterns🧶
This month I have one new and one returning pattern. First up, on April 8th, we will be rereleasing my most popular (and one of my first) crochet patterns, The Ellexa Beanie. This beanie was inspired by a sweet kiddo that used to work with my partner, although she really isn’t a kiddo anymore, and to this day holds a special place in my heart.
Following that, on April 22nd I will be releasing my Thermal Stitch bag pattern. This one was such a fun make, essentially creating a rectangle by holding two strands of yarn together to create a marled look, and then just folding and seaming in the right spots. I really love my bag, and use it quite frequently, but with how versatile this one is I may just have to knock out a solid black one, and maybe a pastel….. Okay, enough rambling Sam.
I was on a bag making/designing kick for a while there, so you’ll have to deal with the fact that we have probably 5-6 more bags coming out this year. I don’t care where I go in my designing, personal fashion choices, or whatever, bags will always hold a soft spot in my heart. I am such a gremlin I just need to always have a spot to put my trinkets, and that is a hill I am willing to die on.
We also have our first pattern test going out TOMORROW. If you haven’t signed up to test, be sure to get that in today please! I will be sending out the test tomorrow, and we should be wrapping up around the end of this month. OH, and all you need is a Bonus Bundle of Mandala yarn and a 5mm hook. 😉

Friends, if you have been one of the 250+ of you that have followed me over on my YouTube channel, know that you have made me cry so many happy tears. I have built social channels before, but doing this for me, without a marketing why, and more of a “I want to do this” and actually talking about my random shenanigan’s, I thought maybe just a handful or so of you might watch. But we just hit some wild numbers over the past two months between all of my content and that just blows my mind. So thank you, it’s really not that I doubt myself, I know I am silly and funny and entertaining, I trust the people around me who give me that feedback, but I also know I am a lot for some people, so I just wanted to say thank you for watching me.

Books📚
Eeeek! We have finally gotten our reading groove back. Last fall I found a Peter Pan-esque series on Kindle Unlimited, and I absolutely loved it, but I didn’t realize until book 3 that it wasn’t finished yet. Low and behold, I am scrolling my kindle the other day and see the 4th book was out and on KU as well, so off I went and devoured it in two days. The only reason I am not saying what book series it is is because it is SPICY with a capital every letter and there are trigger warnings out the wazoo, and I know my teenager reads these blogs and I do not want her to read that until she is a bit older. 😅
I am also in the process of knocking out 4 arcs on my NetGalley account as well! I am really stoked to get those reviews up soon and I am so excited that a few of them release like really, really soon.
Other than that I am still working through my other currently readings but you can totally check out my Goodreads if you want more details, at least until I put the reviews up here.

I just wanted to say thank you one more time, for following me on all the socials, for responding to my emails, and for sending me TikToks at 3 am, you all are some of the best humans I have had the chance to work alongside in our crafty adventures, and I am really thankful for that.
